Aegyo [애교] – Acting too cute for words.
- Body: peace signs, head tilts, pouting, winking etc…
- Voice: characterised by whining and baby-like sounds.
Angel – A song from Exo’s 1st EP, MAMA (Kr: 너의 세상으로 //into your world // Ch: 你的世界). It’s message is about a fallen angel falling in love with a mortal girl. It’s also a nickname for Exo K’s leader, Suho.

Bacon – a meat product prepared from a pig and usually cured. (source: wikipedia) It’s also one of Baekhyun’s nicknames because Baekhyun and Bacon almost sound alike.

Baekhyun – Lead vocalist of Exo. His birthday is on May 6, 1992. Born in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. His real name is Byun Baekhyun.
Baozi – A bāozi or simply known as bao, bau, humbow, nunu, bausak, pow or pau is a type of steamed, filled bun or bread-like (i.e. made with yeast) item in various Chinese cuisines, as there is much variation as to the fillings and the preparations. It’s also a well-known nickname of Xiumin because of his bun like cheeks (^^)

Bbuing, Bbuing – It’s a trend started by a Korean comedy-sitcom. In one episode, a teenage guy wants to get something from his relative, so he take advice from his sister – to ‘act cute’ to get what he wants. So he goes 뿌잉뿌잉~ (Bbuing Bbuing).
It’s just a cutesy sound and expression that used to be really popular.

D.O – One of the Lead Vocalists. He was born on Jan 12, 1993 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. His real name is Do KyungSoo.
Dancing Machine – Given to Kai because he is one of the best dancers in Exo.
Deer – One of Luhan’s nicknames // ruminant mammals that comprise the family Cervidae

Dongsaeng [동생] – Younger sibling, but generally used to refer to anyone younger. (For example: Exo is Super Junior’s Dongsaengs)
Duizhang – A nickname of Kris. It means captain or team leader. Kris is known as Exo’s Leader

Exo – This is the reason why this blog was created in the first place. Exo (Korean: 엑소), stylized as EXO, is a South Korean-Chinese boy band produced by S.M. Entertainment that debuted in 2012. Consisting of 12 members. Separated into two groups Exo K and Exo M.
Exo K – Is the Korean sub-group of Exo. Comprised of Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai and Sehun.
Exo M – Is the Chinese sub-group of Exo. Comprised of Xiumin, Luhan, Kris, Lay, Chen and Tao.

Fanfics – Stories written by different fans. Fans usually write these stories with their favorite OTP (One True Pairing). It can either be rated G (General, suitable for everyone), PG (Suitable for any age but not really suitable for younger reader), PG-13 (Suitable for teens above 13 years old), R (Restricted, Suitable for mature readers only), NC-17 (No Children bellow 17, Suitable for those who are above 17 years old)

Lisp – Also known as sigmatism, is a speech impediment in which a person cannot articulate sibilants (example: s or z). One of our princes, Sehun, has this so called ‘lisp’
Lee Soo Man [이수만] – The founder of SM Entertainment, EXO’s management company.

Maknae [막내] – Refers to the youngest member of a group, and in Exo’s case, Sehun/Tao
Music Bank [뮤직뱅크] – A KBS music show that runs on a weekly basis. Points are calculated by combining scores from Digital Music Sales, Album Sales, TV/Radio broadcasts and Viewers Choice. The songs are then charted on Music Bank’s countdown chart (K-chart) and the #1 song is then given an award.

Ohjima – Means ‘Oh Minor’. Given to Sehun because he isn’t legal yet in South Korea.
Ohrean – a pun on Sehun’s family name, Oh, and adult in Korean.
OTP – The abbreviation for One True Pairing. Used by fans of HunHan, Baekyeol, Taoris etc..,

Park Do Bi – A nickname given to Chanyeol because he called himself that in their XOXO Album.

SM Entertainment – The media and music company that manages and trains various artists including our very own princes, EXO.
SM Family – The name of all the artists under the SM Entertainment label.
SM Town – The name of the compilation albums of SM Entertainment artists, as well as the name of the concert that features the SM Family.
Sunbae [선배] – A senior colleague/classmate. Example: Super Junior and DBSK are the sunbaes of EXO.
